The PADI Open Water Certification is the beginning level for divers who wish to be certified to dive throughout the world. Once you are open water certified the ocean is your playground.

The open water course consists of ELearning, pool lessons and skills, and ocean diving. Before all is said and done you will complete 4 dives to complete your open water course.

We offer fantastic instructors who are happy to serve you in either english or spanish. While doing your open water diver certification with us you will get to experience the true Costa Rican “Pura Vida” spirit, and get to see what the beautiful Costa Rican pacific ocean has to offer.

If you would prefer, you can always do the theory segment of the course before you arrive in Costa Rica. This allows you to spend all the time while here in the water. You can do this easily at any time by participating in PADIs Elearning program (click the photo to the right to be taken directly there).
