Before you book

The fine print, up front

We'd rather you know exactly what you're paying before you show up. A few things worth reading:

Tax & currency

All prices are in US dollars and can change. A 13% Costa Rica sales tax is added to day trips and courses — it isn't baked into the numbers on this page.

What's included

Every day trip comes with fresh fruit, snacks, bottled water, weights and tanks. The Bat Islands trip also covers your lunch and the national park entrance fee.

Nitrox & 3-tank days

Three-tank trips run on enriched air, so you'll need a nitrox certification to join one. Otherwise nitrox is $10 per tank if you're certified and want it.

Getting to the dock

We offer complimentary transport to your accommodation in the immediate area. Staying a bit further out? Additional fees may apply — just contact us for details.

Diving without insurance? Short-term dive cover from DAN (Divers Alert Network) is cheap peace of mind for your trip.

Pricing questions

Is the 13% tax included in these prices?

No — the prices on this page are before tax. A 13% Costa Rica sales tax is added to day trips and courses at checkout.

Do I need to be nitrox certified for a 3-tank dive?

Yes. Our 3-tank trips now include three tanks of enriched air, so you'll need a nitrox certification from a recognized agency. Not certified yet? It's a quick course to add — just ask.

What's included in a day trip?

Fresh fruit, snacks, bottled water, weights and tanks come with every trip. The Bat Islands day also includes lunch and the national park entrance fee. Rental gear is separate if you need it.

Do you offer pickup from my hotel?

We offer complimentary transport to accommodations in the immediate area. If you're staying further out, there may be a small fee — contact us and we'll sort it.

Ready to make some bubbles?

Tell us your dates and where you want to dive — the Papagayo, the Catalinas, or the Bat Islands — and we'll sort the rest. Fruit, snacks and a good day on the water are on us.
